I don’t know it’s different for different people. It’s nothing personal if you don’t. I got followers pretty fast but most likely because I used to make a lot more original posts and I had a catchy URL. And I just happened to get some popular blogs following me early on.
But you know what? Fun as it is having a lot of followers it’s a lot more fun having friends so don’t worry yourself with that harsh blunt number. Just start talking to people you like! You’d be amazed by how many lovely welcoming people there are around and there are so many Beatles blogs (often great blogs and lovely people) that stay around 200 followers no matter how long they’re here who just love making friends and always appreciate someone messaging them.
We’re all here because we have something important in common so just jump in and start talking about The Beatles and blog for yourself - don’t worry about how many followers you gain or don’t gain just enjoy yourself <3

EDIT: and my film blog happens to be fantastic (way better than this blog) but it only had about 50 followers even though it’s been around for months and it’ll probably stay that way but I don’t mind. I just love running it! ;)
