are you kidding!? your blog is fantastic, one of the reasons i like you is because of your love for the beatles, it seems so pure, (blimey, you sound like a 70 year old man, i sound like a sensitive hippie, aren't we a pair?) xxx
"aren’t we a pair?" that sounds like a cue for us to burst into song. *jumps onto table and prepares to tap dance*
I can’t tap dance. Just to confirm. But it’s the internet and you don’t know that so we can pretend.
But thank you so much! It’s true I post some pretty nifty Beatles pictures but sometimes you have to scroll through a fair few irrelivant text posts stupid pictures of me to illustrate that I’ve found my CD pen and conversations with Alyssa littered with tacky Klaine GIFs.
But yay! You know let me insert a fun fact here relevant to my love of The Beatles; I’m going to Uni in a week and right now what I’m most excited about is I get to take my mum’s old reccord player with me and listen to Sgt Pepper on vinyl without any of my family around to interupt!
This is going to sound really really strange but hear me out.
There is nothing wrong with being racist or homophobic. It’s about whether you act on it or not. A lot of old people are quite racist and it’s really not their fault. They were brought up ignorant of why it was wrong and it’s something they can’t shake. It’s about whether you can adapt your behaviour to fit with society and keep your offensive thoughts under control.
For example when my dad had an Indian girlfriend many years before he met my mum my grandmother felt the need to say to him ‘I’m okay with it if you want to marry her’ and the fact she felt she had to say something means she is racist but that she pushed past it means she isn’t a bad person.
I sometimes think the conotations of ‘a racist’ are a bit to strong. In the same way if you flash someone you are technically a sex offender but when people hear that phrase they automatically assume rapist. It’s not fair.
So I sort of feel like within the fandoms (especially the Beatles fandom) there are levels of maturity, and I think you, Astrid, and Ruby are sort of the elders of the fandom, way more mature and reserved than the rest of us. Sort of like who everyone in this fandom idolizes, and you're certainly some of the oldest on here, then it sort of moves down through the ages and maturity levels to some of the newer Beatle blogs. But that's just how I see it, and this was inspired by absolutely nothing.
Wow okay! Thanks I think? Although Ruby and Astrid have flawless blogs and I’m still content to occasionally post random shit but awww I’m really touched!
I just hope people don’t find me pretentious or intimidating because that’s everything I’ve set out not to be…
But you know I find internet fandoms absolutely facinating in the way they function and sort of naturally form groups and hierachies.
As elders of the fandom can we have special hats? I really want a hat like the wizards in Magical Mystery Tour… that would be awesome.
Hello my dear pumpkins. I really, really, really need your help! The only thing you have to do is click the little button for “Für dieses Bild stimmen” (=vote for that picture) and help me to fulfil my dream! I would like to go to a concert of one of the most brilliant German singers - he and his music mean a lot to me… And the only way to win this is to get to the most votes for my (very nice :D) picture…
I would cuddle the shit out of you if I could if you’d help me…
Thank you so much… I love you ♥

AAAAAAAAAW THANKS! :’) i study english since i was 11 and i want to teach english for children hehe. and aw i’m so happy that you said my english is amazing because i think my english sucks lmao
Well considering its your second language and you speak it so naturally! I started learning French when I was 11 and I cannot say a single sentence in French NOT ONE SENTENCE. I’m immensely impressed with your English.
it’s really confusing indeed. i never know if the correct is “apologize” or “apologise” lfmao
Ffffffff it’s okay that’s just because Americans spell it apologize and we Brits spell it apologise. So it can be either really (although obviously I vote you go with the s!) Your English is amazing though <3
ok, the anon is right, but I mean they have writen a message full of mistakes to tell you you have made ONE mistake? :/ oh dear.. English language is hard, but if I can write it, then you can too:3 haha x
Ugh Alba! I’m shit at spelling okay I admit it no need to rub your perfect third language English in my face you talented bitch (I love you)!
u dont need to publish that, i just wanted to say that its 'characters' not 'charectors' sorry bye
No it’s okay. That spelling is one of my blind spots I can’t even blame it on a problem with my fingers it literally seems to come out with a different spelling every single time I write it. It’s the same with parady… or parody? Who knows?
Fucking English language, it’s actually really confusing!
I’ll just be scrolling and then come across a summary reading ‘haven’t you always wondered what it would be like if your favourite fictional charectors all had either terminal illnesses, drug addiction or were prostitutes?’
And then I’ll actually start reading it as well. Often with one eye closed and visibly cringing but I’ll still read it.
